A few more pics that just don't "belong". I absolutely LOVE my The Secret app. I like getting these affirmations daily. I first read, "The Secret", when I spontaneously up and went to Gulf Shores, post hysterectomy in December. I was kind of blown away by it. I intend to read it again on this trip. It's a little "different", but I am capable of melding some of my own beliefs with the new awareness I gained from this book. So if you read, don't judge! Just accept!
Gabbi had Pajama day at school about two weeks ago. I wish EVERY day could be pajama day! At school and at work!
Well, dangit! I had two cavities! So, now I have appointments to schedule to fix them. I have to get fillings. I asked the dentist to do them both at the same time, even though they are on different sides of my mouth. That should be a fun show... numb on BOTH sides!
I do NOT like going to the dentist!! I HATE the flavor of the toothpaste/ cleaner stuff. I hate the sound of the polisher and the feel of them scraping my teeth, when I am scared to death they are about to slip and gouge my gums. I refuse fluoride, cause it totally grosses me out. THERE! I'm done with my rant.
With that, I am grateful for my teeth! I am grateful that I have fairly good teeth, since I totally take them for granted, don't floss, hardly ever brush at night, and am addicted to sugar. Go ahead, all you dental professionals, get on me. It's your turn!
I'm telling you what... Jakie poo has been talking to me BIG TIME lately. I have some fun, new things brewing in my life, and I have been on a deep dive with personal growth. I think he is sending me vibes to let me know I am on the right track.
Yeah. When I saw this on instagram, I went right out and bought myself one of every style. 5 bucks for a great paper pack is a good deal.
I thought these floor squares were pretty great too.
I like to follow some folks on instagram who I just like their writing, and then I thought, hey.. I like MY writing too! So, I have been working on a little project of inspiring quotes in my handwriting, but of course with brush and paint. I am liking the results so far.
And I have had several of you ask me about online classes. Those, too, are in the works. What projects have you seem me do in the past either at a retreat, in my classes at MoJoy or otherwise, that you would like to see me offer. VERY soon, my friends!! My 3 week jaunt to the beach is a WORKING trip! I hope to have a new website up and going, and have it full of options for classes, product, and inspiration. Also, all of our MoJoy Studio classes will be listed on our calendar. I'm excited. If you want to make sure you are on the email list, send me an "add me to the MoJoy email list" message at mojoy@att.net.
Things are going and I am growing!
Thanks to all of you who sent me your email address to get you signed up and eligible for a "prize". I'll work on that at the beach too!! Stay tuned. Check the blog daily, chicks.

Very excited about the website! I'd love to learn more about mixed media, journaling/project life, jewelry, anything you do but definitely mixed media, i need to get back into art.
3 weeks at the beach!? Enjoy!
Oh, and I feel the exact way about the dentist! I do not like the smells and noises and feelings, yuck.
I'd love to know about your online classes as I'm a Jake fan from Australia... Journaling and project life in particular.
I would like the lettering tutorial and a tutorial on building up the surface of the canvas with whatever magical stuff you use.
Have fun at the beach!

Your favorite cuz..
Beautiful randomness! Have a wonderful exploration at the "beach". Looking forward to the info on online classes.
Not a fan of the dentist either. It use to not bother me since I had braces many years ago, but, a bad experience has made me not like going at all. :(
I'm with you on the dentist thing. I've tried to change that with my kids....we'll see if it works. Ha!
I would love to participate some day in your creative endeavors...some day!
I love all the photos.
Thanks for sharing!
oh-mah-gosh! I need lessons from you in everything! I am envious of how you never seem to waste a minute of your life....I need to learn how to do that :)
