I'm alive.

In case you wondered, I am still alive.  I have been super duper busy "exploring" on the weekends, and well, if I am being perfectly honest, I've had technical difficulties which have prevented me from being able to upload my pics from my phone, and that just kinda drives me insane.  To top it off, my computer at work decided to bite the dust this week, so I am just sorta left out in left field.  For that reason, I used pics I had already uploaded for a blog post I like to call, "Random"!!
I'm not sure why I just love pics from instagram so much.  ANd better yet, why I feel so dang inspired when I am rolling through my pics on them.   I realized, while spending the weekend with Breanna, that those we choose to follow on Instagram totally dictate what our feed looks like.  I mean, this isn't earthshattering news, but for me, it explained why I get all fired up and artsy fartsy feeling when I look through those I follow.  It's BECAUSE I CHOSE TO FOLLOW THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE!
For instance, because Breanna does party planning, most of her feed is of other party planners and creative environments.  I sorta find that I follow mostly artists or those who have studios which I'd like to, in some small way, emulate.
Sometimes, I just love what's in the comments.  Hey, retreaters... don't think you won't see these questions again!
And by the way, here's the WINNING Bingo card.  I'm working on your canvas, Joleen.  I have a background so far!
And as you probably would guess, I LOVE inspirational sayings.

They make me THINK!
Don't be surprised if you see one of these on my own Insta feed some day!
I love this little canvas on a wood block.  And I LOVE the newspaper/ text on the sides!!
I am always a fan of anything Louisiana!!  I was a little late posting this.  Mardi Gras came and went and I missed out.
S.W.O.O.N.!!
WHY would I think I needed mini Shamrocks?  Was I thinking I'd be baking?!
I wanna start doing some leatherworks!  I have the leather blanks.  I just need to get out the stamping gear and get after it.  What am I waiting for?!
Maybe they are speaking to the "explorers" of the world?!
I saw all of these magnets when in Breckenridge.  Can you figure out which one I bought?!
And THIS is the book I am presently reading.  And by reading, I mean, "dissecting" really.  I have to underline in it, and write in the margins, and when it makes me think of something I want to share or use in an upcoming retreat or class, I have to flip to the front of the book and write those ideas down.  It takes me FOREVER to "read" a book!!  I've been on this one for weeks!!  But, I highly recommend it.  (If you're into that sort of thing!!)
Well, thanks for staying around long enough to read all this craziness.  Please drop me a note.  I've only had 2 comments on the last two blogs.  I need encouragement!!  Blogging is more fun when it's a two way street!!

Word to ya mutha.

I would have said chocolate too, but since you said it wasn't that one, I now think it was Yay Art!

So, lady, I've been following your lovely blog since before your girlies were even born. I start my mornings with Mo Joy and your Instagram love. Thank you for being such an open book and sharing so much with all of us! But even though my Instagram is full of my 5 kiddos, gardening, and mid west small town living and not art - I think you should still come follow me! My username is momto4ladsandalady. Enjoying your year of exploring!

It was a toss up between the Art and the Chocolate magnet. But I'm sure you chose Art :-)

Yay Roadtrips? I have a phone full of inspirational quotes. I love them myself and send them out to my family (they LOVE that I'm sure!). Never thought of doing a screen shot on Instagram when I see something I want to save!

Have a great week!

I'm glad to read that you like to read the comments. I feel like I just kind of repeat myself and maybe you got tired of reading them :)

I think you got the "yay art" magnet.

Thanks again for sharing your inspiration. It makes me want to get my craft room done so I can go craft and make all sorts of fun stuff!
