We're getting old! This is what our New Year's Eve celebrations look like!
And we wouldn't have it any other way.
Thing is, this is probably the last year that we will have all the girls next door willing to hang out at the house (without boys!!) and just be with the mamas and daddies. Dang!! Cause I sure love having my little baby girls with me and celebrating RIGHT NEXT DOOR!
Todd made a run to the fireworks stand and got the girls some sparklers.
And maybe a few other things too.
Johnnye built a bonfire, and all the preteens were excited to be together, making s'mores and popping fireworks.
I hung for as long as I could, but it was C.O.L.D.!! The mamas were mainly inside the Fords house, eating dips and sweets, and all kinds of deliciousness.
Gabbi, (remember she's a snow queen?!), would've stayed out all night if I'd have let her. She just doesn't even seem to be bothered by the cold at all. Good thing, too, cause little Miss is going to be in ski school in about 4 weeks.
Ellie is NOT excited about that, cause she has put together that, for the first year of her life, she will not be going to Disney World. She actually cried!! (First World Probz!)
That man right there is the most excited of all!! He LOVES to ski!!
Yep. I told you I was going to be EXPLORing in 2014! Tucson in 2 weeks with Jessi, and skiing soon thereafter. I'm gonna make 2014 a year to remember!
And 2013 wasnt' too bad either. Heck... I suppose if you're breathing, it is GOOD!
Happy New Year, belated, to all my MoJoy Believers. I really and sincerely wish you a very happy, prosperous year full of joy and adventure!!

Looks like a great way to celebrate to me. Our New Years included a steady snowfall and temps in the low 20s. Looking forward to 2014 and living my world. Sounds like your 'Exploring' has gotten off to a great start. Looking forward to reading about all your travels this year and the discoveries attached to them! Happy 2014 to you & your family.
That is such a beautiful picture of you & Ellie!
Explore on.....
My goal is to go to Tucson one day. :)
