Upcoming art class... tomorrow night. A grateful fall canvas.

  

 Well, it is our first class.  And it is all about learning to use all kinds of new techniques.

 And it will start out as simply as this... a single piece of scrapbook paper and a crisp white 16x20 canvas.

There will be a little ripping of paper going on...

 And well. that'll get the party started!!

 ANd this is what we'll be ending up with.  There is decoupaged scrapbook paper under this orange paint.  We'll be exploring using a variety of different brushes....

 Cool stencils, rub-ons, a brayer if so desired...

 and charcoal to add the finishing touches of what it is that we are most grateful for....

 I have a whole bunch of sprizes and sprays and a water bottle to make it all drippy and cool!!

 ANd the end result will be funky layers of awesomeness!!

 ANd it will make a super great piece to display every year, for two solid months.  That's what's great about pumpkins.... they work for Halloween and Thanksgiving!
