Valentine's Day at MMPT

Now don't you even think that the only place we have fun is at home/ school.  Nosirreee!!  We know how to celebrate a holiday at work too!  Take, for instance, Gaines, in the above photo.  He was wearing his cute little necktie tee with a big fat red heart on it.  He was playing with Miss Adrienne, an OT student from the University of Mississippi.  And then there was this little duo...
Gabs and Bryce had such a good time playing together.  It's amazing what one kid will NOT do and then you introduce a playmate, and TaDAAA, it's a whole new ballgame!  I am going to have to ask Bryce over for a playdate, because these two just got along really, really great.  And Gabbi is teaching Bryce to pose too!  I'm sure his mom will be so proud of that next time they go for family portraits!
We typically hang on out in the gym together for lunch... well, some times.  Otherwise, we tend to always go to lunch together. Like, EVERY day!  The yellow sweatshirt girl is Emily, who has been my student from Univ of MS for the past 8 weeks.  I get a new one in two weeks for University of Central Arkansas.  Affecting those young lives!
We made sure that the daddies at our clinic didn't forget to get their Valentine's a sweet prize.  We had our clay laid out for them to imprint sweet nothings on and then, we helped them get them painted and baked, and made into necklaces.
Here Gabs and her buddy, Kelsey, had a ball whizzing down the hall in our buggy.  We had an undercover covert mission to rescue that buggy from a drainage ditch in the cloak of night.
We made Valentine's crafts with the kiddos, and we loved seeing all the V Day outfits come through.
Including this one... such a cutie pie.  This is Braylon.  He smiles like this ALL the time.  Well, let me rephrase that.  MOST of the time.  He ain't no dummy when it comes to realizing the WORK it takes to do physical therapy!  He's a precious little dude.

So now you see how the peeps at MMPT did it.  Did you do something fun for V Day?  Do tell!

Sweet, sweet, sweet!
Nothing too exciting here. I just made big, skillet cookies & homemade cards for the family.

What a great idea to have something there for the dads/hubbies to make for their wives!

We didn't do anything special for Valentine's Day. Well, unless you count getting a new muffler on Bill's car. Romantic, eh? LOL

Can I just ask you what kind of hardwood floors you have? I know that's such an odd ball question. My husband and I are building a house and for the life of me cannot decide. Are your's pine? I am leaning towards a wide plank, rustic pine. I have five little ones, and I know pine is the softest wood. Your floors look gorgeous. And I can't tell what wood you have. How do you manage to keep them looking so nice?! Btw...I love your blog! I have never commented before. Thanks in advance!!

Andrea, they are wide plank rustic pine!!! And I LOVE them! THey are soft, and I knew that going into it, so I don't get my panties all in a wad if they get dents in them. That's what I wanted and that's what I am going to live with to have them. I highly recommend them. I even love the way they feel when we are barefoot! I'd do these all over again. But remember, I DID say they'll scar and mar! Mo

Love the tees and ties. For V day, my 17 yr old took his girlfriend to dinner and got her flowers. My hubby and I went to dinner and he got me my favorite sweets....gummy worms, hot tammles and lemon cooler cookies. ONly missed the flavored tootsie rolls.
