Ready for dinner

Do you think my big girl has hung out with Mary Allison a little too much?!  Throwing that hip out like it's about to trip someone!
And then there's Gabbi... "What?"  "Huh"  "What's going on?"
Ellie, "Girl you gotta drop it like it's hot!"  Not really.  I'd ground her!  FOR LIFE!
Puh- leeeeeZe!  I mean, she even has the hyperextended knee thing going on.  She thinks it's cute.  I think it needs a knee brace, and I know just how to order her one!  She'd better watch that extreme posing!  I'll have her in a body cast! (as in to prevent all that contortionism!!)
Ok.  Now THIS is more like it!
Mama and her girlies.  And Hannah, our most recent sitter posing it up with our precious Gabbi Girl... like an unspoiled flower.... only waiting to meet that hurricane known as Ellie Sue Groves.
Did I happen to mention that another of my employees, Keith, and his son also drove down to the beach to hang out with us. He called to see if he could come.  I said no. He said he was coming anyway.  I said we don't have room.  I called midday on Friday to see where he was and he said, "Mobile, Alabama".  You gotta know Keith.  Everyone who knows him loves him.
Luckily my husband knows him well too, so it was all good.  And I was very happy that his son, Hayden, got to spend some quality time with his dad at the beach.
Hey, any of you bloggers who know Keith, and who know him well enough to know that he hates being called Keith, please comment so the world can understand the weirdness that is KEIF!!
And mention that it would be absolutely NO surprise to anyone that Keif also brought a friend down with Hayden so there were little bodies all over the den floor, couch, chairs, etc.
His friend, Dillan, is moving to South Carolina this summer, and they've been best pals since kindergarten. This is their last hurrah.  Glad I could be a part of this gift.
ANd the female pack.
That is Amber in the blue.  She is also an MMPT employee, but I think I mentioned her in an earlier post.  She's the one who'd never been to the beach before... well, she can check that right on off the bucket list!
Funny!  Three cellphones!
And did I mention THE POSE?!!
Happy Friday, y'all!

Bachelorette party for Tiffany!!

Hey, yo.  Did I happen to mention that the MAIN reason I made a flying trip down to Gulf Shores was to hook up with some of my MMPT Ruston peeps for a bacherlorette party!??  Welllll, that is the main reason!
See here?!  It's Jessi and the bride to be, Tiffany.  Tiffany is the speech therapist, ahem... speech language pathologist, I believe they prefer, in the Ruston clinic.  Jessi is now the clinic director, so they formed themselves a little passe' and hit the road to celebrate a few states away at the beach!
Here, we have Amber, a COTA (Certified Occupation Therapy Assistant) in the West Monroe office, and Michelle, a COTA in the Ruston clinic.  Have you noticed yet that I only hire good lookin people!?!!
I mean, who WOULDN'T want to do therapy with us?!  And who do you think wins "whitest teeth prize" in this picture?!
That'd be KK.  She is just beach bummin it up until we head back there this coming weekend.  She was down all last week with her sorority.  Then, she came to my condo on Friday to stay with me, but did the beach at these girls' condo during the day.  She's still at our condo, chillin doing absolutely nothing, waiting on our return.  I have forewarned her.... REST UP!!  Cause next week is MINE!!!!

Tiffany will be getting married on June 30th.  That was the scheduled date for Shake 4 Jake.  We have opted to forego the event this year.  Just needing to do some restructuring, and may have a fall event instead this year.  Anywho, now I can make the wedding too!  Yay!
Hey.  It's me!!  And a couple of people I hardly know at all!!  We are at Cosmo's.  One of my FAVORITE places in Gulf Shores.  It's all artsy, so that doesn't hurt either!
So, I got to sneak away for one night to visit with these girls and celebrate a bit.  Next week, I am sneaking away DAILY to celebrate EVERY day!!  I will have KK AND CoCo to watch my baby girls and serve their every whim.  AND load them up for naps.  AND give them baths.  AND take one to the pool while the other one goes to the beach.  AND hit up the water slide our front.  AND watch the cheerleaders at cheer camp.  AND..... you get the picture.  As for me.  Reading, laying out, drinking mama drinks, painting, scrapbooking, blogging, oh... and worrying a little too about the clinic I need to be at.  But.... I am GOING to make the most of this week!!  It was planned prior to the big change of events we recently encountered!  And the Fords, Bourlands, Torregrossas, etc are all going too, so I am IN!!  YOLO!  (You Only Live Once) You know what I mean?!

Ellie making a little art.

She draws constantly!  And I usually end up throwing most of it away!  I am a collector.  A collector of all things!!  But mainly a collector of memories!  So, for me to throw drawings away is a big deal!  However, she draws a LOT!!
But these I found on my desk at work.  Apparently she has a new subject!!  Girls... in bikinis!!
I thought the whole concept of the little barbell ninnies was pretty funny!  But then, she always draws her stick people with a straight line to the floor, then an upside down V for the legs, leaving a "tail" between the legs.  I wouldn't DARE point that out to her, because, Lawd help us now, we are are already going to have a lot of explaining to do to the kindergarten teacher!!
I just couldn't let this one go by without showing!!  Scroll back up there to the first picture.  You will see that at leans three of the characters are KK, Robin, and Ellia.  Yes, "Ellia".  She has decided that will be her name at school.  Occasionally she branches out with "Ellis" as well.  I guess we will have to wait and see what she actually goes with when the big day arrives!  Crazy nut!

More beachin'.

Let's go back to where we left off with Ellie.  SHe wasn't the only one who got a glitter tat!  Gabs wanted Rapunzel, so we chose a mermaid with long hair and had it done in purple.  It seemed to appease her, so we done good!

I went with the turquoise glittered bluebird of happiness.  After all, I am at the beach, how could I be anything but happy?!!
Ellie back at the tiki bar, hanging out with her new friends.
And then, it was TRICK time!!  Ellie is getting a little braver with regards to the water.  There is a big blue line in this pool that let's you know when you are past 3 feet.  Ellie is careful to not pass that line when not in her floaties or ring.  She loves the fact that she is now over 3' tall, apparently, and can touch.
All of us can remember that, can't we?!  Being able "to touch"?!   I'll be glad when Gabbi can too!
After day one of swimming, we hit the Hangout.  Anyone who's been to Gulf Shores likely knows about this place, and if you haven't been, I highly recommend it.  Lots to do.
THis little angel had not had a nap all day, and had been swimming hard, so let's just say she and I didn't have a very pleasant evening!  They also have a huge sandpile, and when I let her go sit atop it pre-dinner, she was finally happy and quiet.  However, when asked to come down, things went from bad to worse!!  NAP is NECESSARY!!!
To the untrained eye, she looks like a normal little girl here, except maybe for the excessive lipstick.
This one is never all that "normal"... here she is preparing for the Macarena.  And actually, she was pretty dang good!!
More tomorrow.

Hangin at the Hangout.

Our trip to the Hangout is always interesting. For instance all these rocks/ stones/ crystals, whatever.  Lately, I have really been into learning the meanings ascribed to different stones/ minerals.  Call me weird.  I go through phases.  And this is my newest one.
Ok, so onto the shopping area... this is what draws my kids to this place like a moth to a flame... these miniature shopping carts.  Gabbi fills them incessantly with anything and everything her little hands can reach!
And then screams nice and loud as I make her put it all back.  But, it preoccupies the time prior to our table being ready... usually about an hour wait.  At least.
I'm really thinking I need these euro pillows for my condo.  I LOVE them!
Ok, so actually, the reason I wanted to do this post at all is because of all these signs.  I love the words, and thought you might too.
Oh, wait.  I wanted to remind myself to show Todd these.  I think we need one.  And Tashia.  And Paula.  And all my party throwing friends!  They can carry about 14 cups at the same time.  I love it!
Ok, enjoy.  See if there is one sign in particular that sings to your soul.

And finally.....
hahahahahaha!!
