Anyhoo. There is also an extra kid in some of these pics, and I have no idea who she is either.
Now these, well, these make more sense to me!! There are cookie cutters, Judy, an apron, maybe a soap opera on TV?!
Yeah, ok. This I understand!! Gabbi Girl and the big girls were at Judy's (Aunt JuJu's) to make homemade cookies. WOW!! Something brand NEW to my girls!
Looks like she has a BIG OL BOX of cookie decorating goods.Ellie has shown a little interest lately in helping her daddy cook. In fact, just tonight, after daddy cooked chili and grilled chicken for supper, ellie announced she'd be making herself a salad! And as we sat in one room, assuming she was bluffing, we could hear her in the other room banging and clanging in the kitchen. Then... in the pantry. Todd looked at me and said, "bacon bits!". We were amazed at her tenacity to make that salad. But, I digress!! Soooo... back to cookies.
My girls feel that any time they get to hang out with Madi is a good time!
I love it that JuJu has the girls so actively involved!! I think there are some icing stirring, sprinkle sampling, and hmmm... not sure what that is that Gabbi's doing.
So, let's discuss the connection. Judy is Judy Cousans. Her husband is Eric Cousans. Their girls are Julieann (from the beach this year with us and Mary Allison) and Courtney, affectionately known as our CoCo. Also from the beach this year with KK. Ok, so, Eric is Julie's brother. Julie is KK's mama, making Courtney and KK first cousins. Comprende'!? Also, Judy was Pam's best friend. As in Mary Allison's mama. So, as you can see, there are all kinds of interrelated connections. And we are the lucky ones who have surrogate parents/ aunts/ cousins/ to our girls!! I LOVE that so many people LOVE my babies!!
Although sometimes I just don't get it!! Juuussssst kidding!!
If I had to bet, I'd say this was probably their favorite part!
So, Judy, if you are still reading my blog, thank you so much for inviting my babies over for a really fun-filled day of an activity which they will never see in their own house. Hopefully, we can do it again for Christmas, and I will come over and participate too! Or maybe I can bring the crafts!! We can make it a whole day!
