Oh and see that TV? It is now mounted on the wall. I have never watched so much Lifetime TV in my entire life! ANd see that floor? I HATE IT! It shows EVERYTHING, and is so hard to keep clean.
So, if you ever think you may even kinda want to attend an art class, and you know the things I tend to do... scrapbook, mini chipboard books, holiday books, canvases, necklaces, earrings, etc... tell me what you'd most prefer in a class, and how long you'd like to see it last. A single day? an entire weekend? Meals included? Lodging elsewhere or at the Groves home?! Give me some feedback! (At least 20 of you anyway!)
Betcha thought I couldn't keep it up! Huh, Mendy?! Well. Looky at me! Mary Allison is over here now, so I can check in every little while. Among washing clothes, picking up clothes after Ellie, (I am at #40 of clothing items, including bows and individual shoes, for the day! I am NOT kidding! and it is only 2:00!), trying to finish a few talismans and DETERMINED to start my Project Life kit that should've been started January 1, I am B-U-S-Y! I need a 13 day week and about 48 hours per day. But, I WILL keep it up with the for every 20 comments I get, I will post a new blog. Let's do this!

I really wish I was as artsy craftsy as you!!
Would LOVE to attend an art retreat this summer! I'm extremely overwhelmed with 13 years of pictures on disks, my computer and in tubs in my closet. Would like to know how to start, organize and get going on my kids' Project Life boooks. My kids are 10, (almost)12 and 13. It's never too late to start...........right????
I would love to come to an art retreat. I want to learn to do canvasses or jewelry. Really any of it would be fun. I live not far away so accommodations would not be an issue for me. As far as length of the retreat I am open to anything. I am loving theses multiple posts. We need a new talisman post.:)
I wish I was as talented as you are.
I wish that I was as talented as you
WooHoo!! Talking about an art retreat makes me soooooo excited!! You KNOW I will DEFINITELY attend one (if it doesn't conflict with our travel schedule), and you KNOW I will make the long drive down.... so all I need is for you to set a date. I love scrapbooking but am willing to do almost anything. I think a weekend is just perfect. Meals... well, heck, I'll eat just about anything and anywhere. I don't cook, though. As for lodging, I will sleep anywhere... hotel, home, floor.
I've been waiting for this ever since you moved into your BAH. And if y'all need something from Canada just give me a holler.
Yippee!!

I love reading your blog. Your girls are precious.
P.S. We will be starting huge home renos (yet again!) sometime during the warm weather (on the exterior of the house this time 'round), but I'll try my darnedest to fit West Monroe into my schedule! I've been missing y'all big time. The last time I saw you was about a week before Ellie's birth. And she's sooooo big now!!
You know I want to scrapbook with you! I want to learn some simple beading techniques I can add to my books. I am still making the mini-books, and love them. I would prefer to lodge elsewhere, and I can't do anything until a couple of weeks after Labor Day.
Ha Ha! Guess I better comment again since I got a shout out. My vote is jewelry. I think I've commented twice in the years I've been reading, so twice in one day is HUGE!!
I am not artsy at all, have lots of fun ideas, just don't know how to be artsy. I would love a 3 day retreat, I live in Colorado, so to really make it work, it has to be longer than a day, housing would be great if it was at your place since I wouldn't have a car, unless you wanted to be a taxi too!!!
Also can one still order a tailsman?
I would love to come for a retreat . . .are you a six hour drive from Birmingham? I would vote for scrapbooking . . .could stay in a local hotel or at your house (but I snore I'm told!!). It would be fun to eat together also because I know you know this (because I read your blog!!) - lots of fun happens around the table and when "bread" is broken together.
I love your art room. My plan is to someday create a room like that. It might not be as pretty and color-coordinated as yours. Would love to go to one of your retreats but not sure when I would be able to. With the boys being so young don't like being away from them more than a day currently. I've really gotten into scrapbooking and jewelry more since following your blog so those would be my suggested topics. Things like making multiple strands on a necklace, creative journaling and doodling, and of course inspiration prompts. Looking forward to more tailsman blogs and wondering if you've done any canvases lately? Can't wait for the next post. Will be checking all day!
The art room looks fabulous!!! I wish I was crafty!! I have no creativity and no vision.......
Well you've forced me out of lurkerdom just so I can get you to post another post.
Sorry not much help on the art classes. I love your blog and all the pictures of those sweet baby girls.
I've been trying to comment on ALL the blogs I read more often since noticing that I have many more readers than comments! Except I don't think mine could be bribed! Someday I hope to learn a few crafts and have a craft room.. sewing, crocheting.. and some arts too!
Your are superwoman. Run a company, wife, mother and talented in arts and crafts. I am impressed.
The art room is BEAUTIFUL! Can't wait to hear what you decide for the retreat.
I want to come for an entire weekend if I am coming from Missouri. I want to do canvases and scrapbook stuff.....heck I want to have u teach me how to be so organized.
OK!I am double posting again because I am ready to get to 20! I love the colors in your art room. The built ins are awesome.:)
Looks great. I was proud just to get my kitchen cleaned today.
Okay--I want to come for a retreat!! Pick me, pick me---hahaha...I don't care what we do, I just want to meet you! And I can stay in a hotel, or at your house, or wherever. I would be driving in from Atlanta, so not sure how long a drive, but would like for it to be a weekend thing...your art room looks beautiful!
I would love to come for a retreat, but not sure what the logistics would be, because I think I'm almost 8 hours away from you! I'd need plenty of time to plan for it. I would vote for canvases & scrapbooking, and probably staying at a hotel. Sounds like great fun!
I would love to come to a retreat - scrapbooking, canvases, whatever - probably prefer hotel - weekend for sure if coming from MN...
You're doing Project Life? Cool! Hope you share pics when you get rollin' on it.
I would love to scrapbook or make jewelry with you & a group of ladies. I would prefer a weekend retreat, due to the distance I would be traveling.
You're really rockin' the comments I see!! :)
Man I'm behind in commenting! YES!!! I would love for it to be a weekend, meals YES if Todd is cooking and NOT YOU! HA! Yes.. and definitely scrapbooking for me!
Heck I gotta meet you and those girls somehow!!
I vote a weekend retreat. Meals and lodging would be fabulous! I would love to do do canvases, mini scrapbooks, and any other artsy things.
I would love a retreat for jewelry! However, not sure I could travel for it! How about skyping in some of us who are virtual??? If you could give us a supply list ahead of time maybe we could make it work!
WOW!!!! It looks sooooo good!!! I am jealous that I wasn't there to help!!! soon...
