It's dove season. And I am not sure if you have noticed this or not, but me and my crew look for any old reason to get together on the weekend. LSU games. Saints games. Dove season. Whatev!
ANd my girlies just EAT IT UP.... the attention that is. NOT the doves! I may have had my last one too! I tried it, but something about eating a bird that I see flying around all the time. Kinda like eating a rat.

I bet the whole crew "dove in" on that poor "bird"! HA!!!
I mean really it's not much of the poor thing to "enjoy"! Is there anything that WE Southerners don't eat!!! For the RECORD...I don't "dine on dove"!!
