I pulled the ottoman up to the tv so my little Gabbi Girl could stare at the TV in awe. She can get LOST in a tv show!
That other child of mine doesnt' even know we HAVE a tv!
Anyway, I was in the kitchen helping one of my employees paint a picture. She did it all by herself, but needed a little guidance on using the texture medium and ... oh , I know you don't really care! Soooo.... you can imagine my surprise when I saw THIS waltz into the kitchen!
ETu, Gabbi? Etu?!
Now, Gabbi is wearing headbands and toting a purse!
Is it really happening?! My baby is starting to follow in her big sissy's footsteps. Can I take TWO of those?! Lord, help me!
Just so you understand what I am talking about here....

THIS is what showed up moments later!
Pompons, a boa, high heels, a princess dress, and an eye patch!
This kid is not normal!

And I love it!
This is Clara. Her mom was the one who was in my kitchen, painting. The girls LOVED having a big kid at our house to play. Ellie always loves kids in the 8-10ish year old age. She seems to think she IS their age!
Now if I can just convince her that 8-10ish year olds DO NOT drink out of bottles!!

Oh, Mo 2 of Ellie's? Who could ask for more. You lucky dog you! I've never met her, but just your stories about her makes me smile. And those peppermint striped leggins on Gabbi are too precious!
If you want to get rid of the bottle, it is time to tell her. Tell that sweet Miss Ellie that people think she is a baby, and they can't figure out who she is! We finally did that with our Liz, and she took it upon herself to throw her bottle under the school bus when we were waiting at the bus stop for her brother and sister to come home.
Those two girlies of yours are just a joy and a delight. Their smiles warm my heart every day. Next time you come visit, you need to bring them, too! You can go do your thing, and the girls and I will have fun!
Mo, this is just precious. I can't begin to imagine how truly blessed you must feel. I know your life is never dull with those two precious little ones around. I just love coming to your blog to see what's up with your family. It's one of the highlights of my day (I do check in everyday even though I don't always post). Hope you all have a very Merry CHRISTmas!!!
Oh Mo, I just love your girls! Girly-girls are the best! Sweet, sweet, sweet.
Blessings from below 0 WI,
Amy
Never a dull moment at your house is there....too cute!!! Thanks for sharing!
Oh Mo, that is hysterical. Ellie is a TRIP, and GG with her wet shirt from her drooling. At least she has the hang of a headband unlike Ellie who wears it any way she can.......maybe she can teach her a thing or two about headbands! Still hoping that a visit to Colorado is in your future so that I can meet the players up close & personal. Love your posts. Diana from Colorado
Don't you just love PEPPERMINT TIGHTS esp on THICK LEGS!!! I stocked up during HALLOWEEN!! Those two are too funny!
So far as the bottle, a friend of mine had a horrible time of getting rid of the bottle, she asked for a suggestion and I said just replace it w/the sippy cup that has a softer "bite"! She said bedtime was the hardest. I suggested to keeping one by the bedside and if he woke up for it, DO NOT GIVE THE BOTTLE, give him the sippy cup. After a while that "sitting up and drinking" begins to be the "PITS" for them (as well as mom) and they figure "why bother" and after a 2 1/2 weeks the bottle was history! During the day the bottle was off limits but the sippy cup was at his disposal!Try it, it may work!! You just gotta be persistant with it!
Mo ~ I have said this several times before....and I am going to say it again...YOU ARE TRULY BLESSED!
OMG....that eye patch is a hoot with Ellie's choice of fashion for the day! What a character ~ LOVE it!! Then little miss Gabby Girl following her big sissy's lead ~ LOVE it!! These are the special times ~ ENJOY!!
I love how she put the eye patch dead center between her eyes, she is hysterical!

I love it! So cute that they have such creative minds.
Girl....leave that baby girl's bottle alone. She's fine! And Miss Clara will be soooo excited to see these pictures. She's ready to "babysit" again!
Hahaha! Oh, girl...you are going to be B-U-S-Y if Gabbi starts taking after Ellie! Ellie runs full-throttle all day. She cracks me up! The girl does know how to work an outfit, though! ;-)
PRICELESS!!! I love those personalities!
Ellie surely marches to the beat of her own drum! But it is so stinkin' adorable! And I can't believe Gabbi will sit and watch TV. My Audrey is just like Ellie...barely knows we have a TV. Too busy toting her babies and books around to even notice.
We just got rid of the pacifier a couple of weeks ago. It has not been a lot of fun, but I am glad it is gone. Maybe if you take it from Gabbi and get her to drink from a sippy cup, Ellie will follow. The Nuby sippy cups were so much like a bottle they worked great for my daughter.
Too cute! I love the pics!
I love it! The pom-pom waistband nearly did me in!!! Have a great day...
