It all started innocently enough! I brought home a little biscoff biscuit from the airline last Sunday. Today, i found them in my bag and decided Gabbi Girl may like them! So...
She started gnawing. When Staci was little she would eat oatmeal (which she called "oakamilk") and would reportedly say, "gum gumm" for yum yum. I am glad that my mom and dad affectionaetly kept these little words as part of our daily dialog even as we grew, because it makes me realize that words that are presently part of OUR daily dialog (like "sassou" which Ellie uses for "pick me up") will someday be remembered by our baby girls and passed along! Anyway, as you can tell, this little cookie turned into quite the fiasco! I like the way that burnt orange all over her face makes her eyes look extra blue! Needless to say, we went STRAIGHT to the tub. Not even a sink bath would fix this!
My girl was happy though, and that is all that really matters! Melanie

That is so funny that your sister said Oakamilk for oatmeal. My girls still say "Oakmilk" and I haven't corrected them yet and they are seven. Gabbi is precious!

Those pictures are just wonderful! Thank you for sharing them. I love the special words our children had for things. I will never forget our son's (now 34) word for helicopter: heli-da-doo-doo!
I'd have to say that Gabbi Girl really enjoyed that biscuit. That wide open mouth smile is precious, even covered in gnawed bisuits.
She is precious!
That little girl is the happiest baby I've ever seen. I look forward to her smile every day! She is precious . . . even when she's a mess! You can sure tell she enjoyed that treat!
Lord have Mercy--That's a mess!! But it's hilarious! Makes me miss those "baby" days with mine (sort of--except for those sleepless nights :) She is precious!!
Those pics are priceless! We enjoyed lovin' on Gabbi while you were out of town. She loved Ollie and Jacie's dog, Addie...She would squeal and shake with delight seeing them!...So darn cute!
That smile has me smiling, how could you not! Any mother who has been there knows how cute and great that moment was... happy times! She is adorable... MMM
Thanks for sharing both of your girls with us.
Stacy
What great pictures!!!! I'm pretty sure I had the same cookie from a flight a couple weeks ago, it appears Gabbi liked it better than I did, smile.
OH MO! This is priceless! It made me laugh out loud and that's a good thing to start my day!
She is the cutest thing! And that smile is worth a million. I'm so glad you are keeping all this for them. Remember some can be held for blackmail too when the boys start showing up! Tee Hee
Let me try that again.
Gabbi girl is growning so fast! Love the pictures.
My nephew, who is 25 now and has two little boys of his own, use to say "Hold g" when he wanted us to pick him up.
Love the pictures! She is so cute!
She's a doll, even with the mess all over her! LOL
Oh the dreaded "biscuits"!! I think they have a hidden "kickback" benefits with a major "detergent" distributor!! LOL!!! I had to laugh at the "words" kids come up with! My kids said "bite" instead of "bike" every last one of them!!! Now my little ones says "CACKERS" (crackers) and "CAMMY" (candy). The best one yet is when I get ready for work in the morning, I go in to get her ready for school and she says "You ain't no Diva" in a little singing tone!!!! IT'S HILARIOUS!!!! This kid loves to sing! I even had to buy her a musical toothbrush!!! Yep she dances when she brushes!!!
Yep, blame it on my 19yr old who LIVES, EATS and BREATHES BEYONCE' and my Bree loves her as well!!!
We call her BREE'YONCE!!!!
Wow, Gabbi Girl! What a mess! LOL.
